Deacon John Freund

I was ordained in 1997 and am a member of the Pastoral Staff and an 18 year parishioner at St. Isidore Parish in Bloomingdale, IL. My wife Liz and I have been married for 25 years and have two grown daughters.

In addition to my diaconal training, I am a graduate of the Diocesan Pastoral Leadership Program and attended the Institute for Spiritual Companionship. I am currently enrolled in the spiritual direction training program at The Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence. I have had the opportunity to companion men, women and young persons on their spiritual journeys for several years through the Charismatic Renewal, Cursillo, Christ Renews His Parish and a variety of other ministries. I currently serve as a Group Spiritual Director for deacon candidates and their wives.

I am available for Spiritual Companioning in an individual or group setting.
