Catechist Preparation

Teaching our youth about their faith takes knowledge, creativity, patience, and courage. Our students may only see us for 35 total hours per year. How do we get the teachings, traditions, and rituals of our awesome Chruch to our youth in a way that will assist them with their own spiritual development? We do it by incorporating weveral different learning styles so that some of them learn something all of the time. Learning style? Drama, skits, crafts, contests, games, music, multimedia, and many other learning techniques help youth learn their faith by experiencing its teachings. Hands on, minds on, and hearts on learning styles are what we can share with your catechists to help them with their commission to serving Christ. These sessions can range from 2 to 6 hours based on needs and goals.
