Advent Mission:

Is there still no room in the inn?

To find Christ anew and alive we must often journey far. We must journey past places that are filled with busy noise, anger, distress, sorrow, and indifference. The magi, shepherds, and many others had to leave their places of comfort and tread through the wildernesses of their hearts to find the Messiah. And indeed their reward was great.

Once we find Him, what are we willing to commit to? How will the encounter change our lives forever? Will we realize that we are now involved in a relationship that is to embody our entire being? Can we live this today, tomorrow and forever? Let us seek these answers together in prayer and conversation.

Lenten Mission:

Senseless to Saintliness

A Journey of Spiritual Enrichment

Mother Teresa said, "Prayer begets faith, faith begets love, and love begets serving others." It is a long journey from a sense of God's presence in our life to a devotion to living a life in Christ. It's all grace! Always near but somewhat out of reach. What do we do to be in His place and time? Do we stop, go, remain, withdraw, reach out, submit, grasp or just simply recognize and acknowledge what is already present? How does our pilgrimage embark from a senseless state of being to a saintly existence?

Our Catholic Church is a rich and generous source of all that we need to becoming present to God's will for us and for us to become instruments of Christ's love to a spiritually starving world. It is not without change, sacrifice or relentless obedience. It is a journey to awe, joy, love, wonder, peace and illumination.
